“Most Wanted: Roommates” is an interactive live show, transforming the format of the classic TV talk show into a Twitch stream. It is aimed at both gamers and non-gamers.
The setting is an apartment in Berlin-Kreuzberg, for which our hosts Steffi and Mori are looking for a new roommate. In every episode a well-known personality applies to move in – but they’ll need to master a few games, both analogue and digital, to prove themselves. In the end it’s the audience’s decision via chat, if the applicant gets a green light.
Important notice: the show is hosted in German language.
Steffi is known for her moderation of ran “E-Sports Magazin” and “eSports Summer Unitymedia”. For her, it doesn’t matter whether it’s on TV, on the web or live on stages big and small: she lives for presenting and loves telling stories that entertain and touch the audience. She loves meeting interesting people in interviews or discovering exciting places around the world. Steffi feels particularly at home in gaming, be it in co-op or solo, and she is fascinated by strong storytelling and good loot.
Mori has actually always cooked. First in his father’s restaurant kitchen, then to finance his studies, and finally in front of the camera. With his friendly manner, he has earned himself a following of over 65,000 subscribers on YouTube and 53,000 followers on Twitch. Mori shows in his videos in an entertaining way and with lots of practical know-how that anyone, really anyone, can cook. And because his second mainstay in life is commentating on video games, he also occasionally cooks dishes together with fellow gamers who are rather clueless when it comes to cooking, which is sometimes quite funny.

As a highlight of the opening ceremony, we pilot a brand-new entertainment format: the Twitch show “Most Wanted: Roommates”!
This episode is the first of an upcoming monthly series, hosted by Stefanie Langer and Maurice “Mori” Lange (no, it’s not a typo – it’s two different surnames…). They just started their new project, a shared apartment full of enthusiasm for games, digital media and metropolitan lifestyle. Each episode features a new guest who sort of applies to move into the most wanted room in Berlin.
The interactive show will be transporting the format of the classic TV show into a Twitch live stream and is initially being planned as a monthly format. It is aimed at gamers and non-gamers.
In case you are wondering: the shows are hosted in German language. We just keep our web consistency with Englisch text on gamesweekberlin for now.

And this is how “Most Wanted: Roommates” works:
a well-known personality applies in the show to move into an empty room of a real gaming flat share in Berlin-Kreuzberg where the show’s two hosts both live.
